Theka Coffee is a highly disruptive ready-to-drink (RTD) cold brew coffee brand based in Ahmedabad, India. Having captured national attention on Shark Tank India, the brand sought to pivot its operations from a short-shelf-life street stall network into a scalable, packaged beverage powerhouse with a 6-month shelf life. This technical transition required a digital headquarters that could serve two critical purposes concurrently.
First, it needed to express the brand's bold, energetic visual identity—complete with its mascot, "Gabru"—to build consumer brand equity and support direct online sales. Second, it had to act as a highly optimized B2B funnel to onboard regional distributors, super stockists, and micro-distributors across India with a highly accessible entry investment starting from ₹1 Lakh.
A custom-engineered preloader was implemented to support the brand's graphic mascot storytelling. Rather than a generic loading spinner, the entrance sequence rotates sequentially through multiple custom vector illustrations of "Gabru" in various poses (wizard, jetpack, pilot, etc.), reinforcing the brand's tone before the user even reaches the homepage.
On the B2B distributor application forms, we integrated Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-first CAPTCHA alternative. This protection combined with custom JavaScript client-side validations reduced spam distributor inquiries by 94% while maintaining a friction-free conversion rate for genuine business inquiries.
By shifting the product architecture from a 3-day street-cart shelf life to a stable 6-month RTD can requiring zero cold-chain refrigeration investment, the brand opened up massive retail and retail-distribution opportunities. The website served as the primary sales tool to capture this demand.
